Life happens to be what I want my mind to paint on a canvas. I'm talented, smart, and funny but you'll never see that in the artist alone. You have to envision what I draw to fully understand my full being. My words can sometimes be enough, but what makes me who I am, Doni Kay, is way more interesting to see.

I want you to see color.

Cause who I am brings light and happiness to a room full of dullness and emptiness.

Don't let my kindness fool you.

My sharp tounge will kill instantly.

I was once told by a fool

"you're stupid"

no ma'am/sir.

I am only "stupid" so you can fully understand what I'm trying to get across to you.

Apparently, my words are too "smart" for you to comprehend.

if only people understood what I drew on my canvas, my life would be a little more easier.

weird? yes. only because nobody understands me.

not even the woman who pushed me out her womb.

and the only man who does is a stubborn old geezer who can't take an apology from his" baby girl".

I guess the only time people can understand me is if I conform to society and be "one" with the person next to me.

eh, no.

I aint "one" with nobody but my damn self.
